The room was comfortable enough, though it felt a little worn. Still, I wouldn’t call this a four-star hotel, even if it was the only option in the area. Breakfast was a poor buffet, and the empty little fridge didn’t work. There was hardly any English spoken, and using the pool and spa cost extra. Their opening hours were awkward too, with no evening or morning access. I’d put it at about three and a half stars, and it’s missing some basics.

The breakfast was very limited, just fruit, yogurt, and coffee, and street noise carried into the room. We were also surprised to learn the hotel had no gym, despite promoting one with photos online and in the lobby. That added to an already awful stay. Our first room hadn’t been cleaned: the beds were unmade, and there were used towels and an open soap in the bathroom. I understand mistakes happen, but the front desk response was terrible. They said there was no cleaning staff and no other room with two beds. It took us threatening to leave before the staff member even started looking. She went back and forth with us for about 30 minutes, didn’t believe us, and went upstairs to check herself. Since it was late, we reluctantly stayed after she “magically” found another room.

There are plenty of shops nearby, and the hotel is well situated. The rooms and bathrooms were comfortable, and breakfast was good. Dinner was just so-so, though. I have to say, the decoration was rather ugly.

The rooms and shared areas look nice and are well maintained, and the staff are kind and helpful enough. But several things cost extra that I think should be part of the room rate. There’s no breakfast included, and the restaurant isn’t cheap. Parking costs more than 8 euros a night. The biggest issue is the spa, which is also extra at 12 euros for hotel guests, with swimming caps another 1.5 euros. For a place called “Langrehotel & SPA,” I think it should be clearer that the thermal area isn’t included by default.

A nice place to stay in central Asturias. Breakfast was tasty and included, and parking was available and convenient.
