Flatguest - Castle Sea View

We felt very comfortable here. The property looks after its guests and everything was in good order. The apartment is beautifully laid out, with an interior patio and sea views, and the promenade runs through Sant Cristóbal, a fishing village.

The only pleasant part was the sea view, though dirty windows made it look murky. The rest was a letdown: this is a summer house meant for unheated living, with no heating and only thin blankets. The bed linen was stained, the towels were small and they said there were no others, and the front door looked like an old barn door. Inside, there was dirt, other people’s hair, and cobwebs, including in the bathroom. It didn’t seem to have been cleaned. There was no working TV, microwave, or clothes dryer. The bedroom had no window, apparently because that side faces the highway, and the whole wall was covered with floor-to-ceiling blinds. I wouldn’t rent this place.

Terrible service. I’m trying to sort out my reservation, but nobody answers the phone or replies to my emails. They were quick enough to charge me upfront from the very start.

A new, very well-kept apartment right by the sea, in a really quiet neighborhood.
