This is a budget hostel, and we stayed two nights. It was clean and well located, about two minutes from the beach. Our windows looked out onto Chinese shops across the street. There are plenty of other hotels nearby, and what you pay depends on the season and when you book. It’s April now, which I think is a good time for the city. If it gets warmer than the current 25 degrees Celsius, that may help. Green isn’t really the color of this island.

We were very happy with our 14 days here. The rooms were tidy and comfortable, and the staff were genuinely nice and helpful. The location is good. Just be aware that the shared “kitchen” is two fridges and a microwave.

The room was good for the low price and a five-day trip. It had a private bathroom with a big shower. The location is handy for the port and port market, and there are lots of local places to go for dinner in the evening.

The staff were polite and offer to clean your room every day if you want. It’s about five minutes from the beach, with plenty of places to buy groceries and other things nearby. The hostel sits among mostly Asian shops, which gives the area an interesting feel.

There are stairs at the entrance, then a lift from the first to the fifth floor. It was clean and the price was good. There was some noise at night, but all in all it was fine for what we paid.
