The staff were great, but the rooms and appliances feel very dated. There are no outside windows, which makes the rooms feel odd, and the window facing into the building means you hear everything from the other rooms, absolutely everything. It works if you just need somewhere by the beach to sleep at night. If you’ll be spending days in the room, I’d look for somewhere more private.

You get a lot for the price here. It’s a block from the beach, with excellent restaurants all around, and the place was clean and tidy. The rooms are plain, with a kitchenette and a good bathroom. Street noise carries late at night, though that comes with the neighborhood. I took off a star because there’s no wifi in the rooms.

We paid a very reasonable price, which made the small drawbacks easier to accept. Our window looked onto a tiny enclosed courtyard, and the walls and windows don’t block much noise. With the window open, you can hear your neighbors coughing and sneezing. Room wifi costs around 15 €/week, though the lobby has free wifi. The location is wonderful, just a one-minute walk from the beach and its bars and restaurants. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Alberto at reception gave us island information, translated from Spanish, and called a car rental company for us. It’s a great base if you plan to explore Las Palmas nightlife rather than spend your days inside the hotel.
