Wonderful manifestation, I think it was carnival, with suggestive fireworks. There was a little, which is perfect for sustainability, dogs and animals, something smart people in Spain always remember first, along with respecting nature.

The apartment had everything we could have needed, and the location was outstanding. We could walk out for coffee and a light Canarian-style breakfast, grab an afternoon snack and a few beers, then have dinner under umbrellas on cobbled streets with live music and walk back to a fantastic apartment. I'd recommend it to anyone going to Las Palmas. The only downside was the public garage parking, which was quite expensive. The apartment itself was reasonably priced, so just factor the parking into your budget.

I keep coming back here when I travel for work. The cozy apartments are in the old town of Gran Canaria and have nice attention to detail. The owners are friendly and attentive, and you're just steps from shops, bars, restaurants, the bus station, a theater and more. The only drawback I've noticed is the bathroom: it's small and quite uncomfortable for a larger person. Still, it works really well for a vacation or a business trip. I love the place.
