The housekeeping team were brilliant, really friendly and helpful. Shout out to Fran 👍🏻 The rooms are nice and the location is good, but the rooftop pool is more like a puddle. The TV has four channels, and three don't work. There's no streaming unless you know how to cast from your phone. There's a restaurant in the basement, but it only serves breakfast. I was told lunch and dinner are served at the rooftop bar. That's all well and good until it's windy and raining. Why not just keep the basement restaurant open?

I paid €141 a night for three nights, without breakfast. The room was a good size, generally clean, and well maintained, and the staff were nice. The hotel is on a loud street, but the insulation worked well. I also enjoyed the tea in the room. The 12th-floor rooftop had a good view, though the pool is quite small. There were some problems. The shower had water stains when I arrived, the armchair had a broken bottom, and the TV didn't work at all. The free Wi-Fi was extremely slow, and the private network wouldn't connect in my room. On my last morning, despite keeping the windows shut, I found a cockroach in the bathroom. I'm sure the staff would have dealt with it if I hadn't been checking out.

The reception staff were friendly, and my room was neat, clean, and had basic tea supplies and toiletries. I spent one night on the ground floor, where there wasn't a good view, and the room felt dark without sunlight. Service was otherwise practically nil, and you have to look after your own needs. The restaurant uses the basement for breakfast and the rooftop for lunch and dinner. It's a resto bar with average views of the surroundings and sea. The restaurant was deeply disappointing: they didn't pay attention to my order and brought what they chose instead. Good service should be a priority in a hotel, and management failed badly here. I told reception I was unhappy with the restaurant, but they barely cared and didn't follow up. The location was average, about a ten-minute walk to the beach, with parks and a few places to eat nearby. I wouldn't choose to return.

This doesn't work well for business trips or digital nomads. The Wi-Fi is under 2 Mbit/s, which I could have lived with. But being told, “I'll write your complaint down” made me feel like a fool.
