Hotel Monte Rozas

Hotel Monte Rozas is in a handy spot in Las Rozas, Madrid. I found it a comfortable stay for the price, a nice balance for anyone travelling in the area. I had a pleasant visit.

We picked this hotel because there aren’t many places that take pets. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a good range of food and drinks that staff kept replenishing. The hotel was clean, parking was easy, and there were plenty of spaces. I’d stay again. Getting in was awkward: the entrance comes off a slip road beside a fast-moving carriageway, and if you miss it, you have to drive a long way around. There aren’t shops nearby, though vending machines by the entrance have snacks. If you’re willing to drive about 7 km, Heroin City has restaurants, bars, a cinema, bowling, a gym, and more. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed, a large TV, and plenty of wardrobe space. It was a little smaller than rooms I’ve had at other three-star hotels, and the corridors were narrow. I struggled to carry the dog cage without hitting the walls, especially when the cleaning staff had left their trolley in the corridor at check-in and check-out. The staff were friendly enough. I’d booked with a dog in advance, so I wish they’d put us closer to the entrance, since I had to take the dog out several times.

I loved my stay. The staff were amazing, and breakfast had plenty of choice. The room was nice, although the hairdryer wasn’t great for long hair. The photo isn’t the best, but it shows the view from my window.

It’s a quiet, somewhat secluded spot, so having a car is a good idea. Public transport can still get you to the city centre without too much trouble, and there’s a gas station nearby. Staff were friendly and professional, cleanliness was very good, and breakfast was hearty and tasty. There’s also a decent restaurant across from the hotel if you want something beyond breakfast.
