The location worked well for us, between the IFEMA auditórium and the metro and bus station. It’s in a quiet, pleasant residential area, and there’s free street parking right outside, though you should check local restrictions. There’s also secure parking on site for €10 a night. Our room was a good size, very clean, and the bathroom and shower were very good for this budget. The bedroom even had carpet, which is unusual in Spain, and the climate control worked fine. Staff were warm and helpful, and check-in was welcoming and straightforward. Breakfast is Spanish and European in style, with a reasonable range. If you want a full English breakfast, this won’t be the place for you. For the price, quality and location, though, we were very happy and would stay again.

The staff were very nice, and the hotel itself looks modern and pleasant. But unless all you need is a cheap night near the airport, I wouldn’t recommend it. There are no shops or services within walking distance in this residential area, and the nearest restaurants are across a motorway, so I had to pay 15 euros for a taxi to get dinner. I also had to change rooms because the one I was given smelled as if someone had been smoking in it all day, even though I checked in at 9 pm. The breakfast buffet was underwhelming, with little choice and poor coffee.

After confirming my reservation, they messaged to say there was a problem with my credit card. I asked them what was wrong, and they replied that “due to a one-off error in our pricing system, your booking was confirmed at an incorrect rate.” Then they cancelled the reservation.

Christina at reception was especially helpful and professional when we ran into an issue during our trip. The staff were kind and professional throughout. The hotel is a little outside central Madrid, but the metro is only a five minute walk away, so getting around is easy. Breakfast was nice, and the rooftop pool was a great extra. A good choice if you’re happy to use the metro to explore.

It’s handy for the airport and public transport, and there’s a busy area nearby, though busy roads are close too. The room was tiny and gave me a bit of a prison vibe, even though the hotel’s decoration was fine. Breakfast costs €10. It works if you just need somewhere to sleep between the airport and the city.
