I spent a full week here, and it was decent for the price. The location is central and close to most attractions. Our room was a decent size and pretty clean. The bed was okay, but the pillows were really flat. The wifi worked alright. Staff were very friendly and always greeted us when we came and went, though they don't speak English. At night, we could hear the crowds and smell cigarette smoke because our room was right above the bar and across from the theaters. The A/C didn't work, and the window was boarded up so we couldn't open it. It got really hot in the middle of the night.

We left at midnight, just 10 minutes after arriving. The room wasn't acceptable: it was small, with a tiny window that let in no air or light, and the bed and sheets were in terrible condition.

I was there with a friend on a business trip. She was meant to arrive the day before, but her flight was delayed. She emailed the hostel and called to make sure the reservation was still valid. When she got there, reception said it had been cancelled and made her pay for the room again, at a higher price than the online booking. They wouldn't listen to her or acknowledge that she'd told them about arriving late. The receptionist was extremely rude, and we lost €260 because of this. The place was loud and dirty, and the rooms didn't even have windows. A horrible experience.

The room was really clean, and the price was good for the location. I'd recommend it to anyone after a cheap place to stay. It was pretty noisy, though, and the elevator broke on the 2 Nd day.

Booking a single room for one person was so easy, and everything was great. I could come and go without running into anyone, which meant I didn't have to spend any social energy. The lady at reception was a sweetheart. I'd definitely stay again!!
