The staff were really helpful, and reception is open for long hours. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with scrambled eggs and bacon, a good selection of pastries, some cereals, juices, and hot drinks. A couple more types of bread would’ve been nice, but that’s a small thing. Everything was spotless, the bed was large and comfortable, and the ensuite bathroom was a good size. The modern apartment-style room was very spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen area and fridge, so it’d work well for a self-catering stay. There’s a large supermarket nearby. The center of Leon is an easy walk of about 20 minutes, or you can catch a bus close by. Highly recommended, easily the best value we found on our month-long trip.

It’s a bit outside the center of León, though getting around is easy, and you can walk there in 5-10 minutes. The room was clean and the heating worked well. You need to ask reception for a hair dryer. Breakfast is served in a small, narrow cafeteria with only 10-12 tables, and the food was average. Sometimes they ask you to leave so other guests can eat. The staff don’t speak English very well, so communication may be tricky if you don’t speak Spanish.

The breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly, always happy to help. A couple of things to keep in mind: opening the window might let cigarette smoke in from the neighbors, and chairs moving across the hard floor can make a lot of noise downstairs.

The staff were friendly, and the apartment was clean and spacious. There’s free parking, too. It’s a great apartment hotel just outside the city, about a 20-minute walk away.
