Hostal Orejas

The place was ultra clean, with the porcelain sink and bathroom floor shining. It worked out well as a last-minute option when the town was booked up two weeks ahead. The walls are thin, though, and the main downtown street outside gets loud. Street cleaning and garbage pickup late at night may bother you. The location is great, near the river and downtown. It’s about a three-quarter-mile walk to the historic area and lots of good restaurants, including plenty of tapas bars. The bus depot is a seven-minute walk away. Pretty good overall, especially when you need a place at the last minute.

A bit of a bizarre feeling staying here, with some odd guests, a slight cigarette smell in the hall, squeaky beds, and weak soundproofing. We were a couple and didn't mind the noise, though ;-). The room was clean and the shower was okay. It's a cheap hotel, and for the price it was alright. If you're on a budget, go for it. If you can afford a little more, maybe spend it.

For not much more than two people at the albergue municipal, this was amazing. The location is great and the staff are super nice. It's not a five-star place, of course, but I'd recommend it to pilgrims who want a night without snoring:-)

A central, cheap place that's fine if you don't expect much. The shower was the tiniest I've ever used. I'm a US size 34 and it was already tight, so if you're larger than a US size 36 and planning to shower, think carefully.
