The only real downside was the bathrooms: there’s one for women and one for men, and each is for one person at a time, with the shower and toilet together. Apart from that, the hostel is clean and has what a peregrino might need, including a kitchen, laundry, living room, and garden. It costs a little more than an average albergue, but the price is still good. The lady in charge, who I understood was the owner’s mother, was incredibly kind. She even took me to the physiotherapist. She didn’t speak any English.

I spent three nights here during a long trip, and it’s the most wonderful place I’ve stayed. The hostel is calm, clean, and very well looked after. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is fully equipped. 100% recommended.

It’s central, close to food and other shops, and has a great kitchen. The place was nice and clean, and the hostess was wonderful, helping in every way she could. Altogether, a great place to stay. Jean.

A warm welcome and a cosy room made my rest day in Leon feel lovely. One of my best experiences on the Camino so far. I’d give the hostel more than 5* if I could.
