The grounds are clean, spacious, and tidy.

We had to cancel our trip because of a serious medical situation, which we could document. I understand that legally the property can keep the advance payment, but I don't think doing so was ethical or sensible. We gave them plenty of notice, enough time to rent the apartment again. It's striking that a few days earlier we were the ones pushing to confirm the booking by email and deposit. They only confirmed by wassap and didn't seem very interested, to the point that we began to doubt it was genuine. In the end, they chose not to refund the booking and lost a customer.

We lost the €300 deposit we paid in February after having to cancel because three of our group of five couldn't come. That was understandable, since it was in the booking conditions. I spoke with the owner and explained what had happened. The other two of us still wanted to go, so I asked if the price could be reduced. He said no, and we accepted that. Two days later I saw a Booking.com ad for another apartment at €700 for five nights. I asked if we could book it and perhaps stay an extra night, given that we'd lost our original reservation. He offered no help at all, and then removed the ad from Booking.com so we could only book seven nights instead of the original five. We didn't argue about losing the money; we knew the conditions and accepted it. We just hoped for some understanding. We know it's a business and money matters, but in our case they wouldn't have been losing money with us, quite the opposite. It takes a real lack of empathy.

The garden and pools are really well kept, and it's a charming spot. It's a short five-minute walk to everything, while being far enough from the Posada to stay peaceful and quiet.
