A clean, very good place for pilgrims. Isabel was a lovely host.

I stayed here in January 2026 while walking toward Santiago de Compostela. The room was very clean and was across the street from the bar, not above it. The heating wasn't working, but they fixed it right away. Service was very polite.

The receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful, and even offered us breakfast the next morning for the trouble. That was a lovely gesture, but it couldn't undo a pretty bad night. We'd booked thinking our room was in the hotel, which looked very nice. We only found out after paying that it was actually in the guesthouse, and the hotel staff hadn't mentioned that. We knew the room was above the restaurant terrace and expected the usual restaurant noise, which we were fine with. What we hadn't been told was that the restaurant becomes a pub at midnight, with loud music, a party atmosphere, foosball clattering, and people staying late. We barely slept. After seeing some reviews mentioning closing times, we realized this was normal. We called the hotel, and the receptionist was friendly, offered options, and tried to sort it out quickly. The party ended around 2:30 a.m., and people stayed on the terrace until 3:30 a.m. The room itself was basic and fairly clean, with a small but comfortable bed. We also really enjoyed the restaurant food we took upstairs, a combination plate with pork loin, eggs, and sweet potato. I still wouldn't recommend this room for anyone looking for a good night's rest. It might suit someone who wants the nightlife, but there are better places nearby for sleeping.
