Ramon had plenty of local knowledge to share, and we enjoyed hearing his take on Lles, the mountains and Catalonia. After lunch, we spent a reluctant last afternoon swimming in the rustic pool, with clean water and lovely views, before carrying on with our Trans-Pireneo Bike Tour. We'd recently stayed at Hotel Mirador, right in the middle of Lles, a lovely little village with wonderful views towards the Pyrenees and Serra del Cadi. The hotel is handy for hiking, nordic skiing and cycling routes. Our modern, comfortable room had large windows, a good bed, a hot shower and plenty of storage. Dinner in Ramon's dining room was a rich regional meal, and he was a warm, attentive host. The next morning, we had breakfast in a bright room beside a small creek running just outside the window. Thanks to Ramon and Hotel Mirador for a great stay!

I can only speak to the food since we didn't stay at the hotel. We ended up here by chance after finding every restaurant in the village fully booked, and were pleasantly surprised. The asparagus with ham and goat cheese was delicious, as was the fricandó, veal in meat sauce with mushrooms. I also enjoyed the cheesecake, and my companions were happy with what they ordered too.

Lles is a village with one hotel, one restaurant and one bar, and we enjoyed our time there. The hotel seems much as it was in the '70s. There are great views, but not much else stood out.
