Costa Encantada Suites & Resort

We went for a family holiday during October half term and had all-inclusive. The hotel's about a 15 minute walk outside the main town, so it's quieter, which suited us. The room had comfortable beds and sofa beds for everyone. Food ranged from okay to very good and there was plenty of variety. Bar service was generally good, though a little slow just before dinner. The staff were fantastic, and we'd certainly consider coming back.

The kids' club was amazing, with activities running all day, and the splash park was well worth it. The pool was cold in October, as expected. We stayed for 7 days and were really impressed by this superb hotel and its great staff. A fantastic stay.

We stayed at Costa Encantada for two weeks and had a great time. The apartment was very nice, and the hotel was spotless throughout. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, including the room cleaners, who were happy to help whenever we needed anything. The pool facilities were excellent, with lifeguards everywhere, and the children's entertainment area had amazing staff. We booked bed and breakfast, and there was lots of fresh food. Fresh eggs and omelettes were being served constantly. I'd definitely return for another two weeks. Thank you.

The facilities are a big plus for families. Our children love the outdoor pool and splash area, and there's a spa, sports courts and plenty of room to relax. The hotel is about a 20 minute private transfer from Girona airport, a 10 minute stroll to Fenals beach and local shops, and around 20 minutes from the centre of Lloret de Mar, with its main beach and attractions. The staff are consistently professional, approachable and polite, and rooms are kept spotless with daily cleaning. We've stayed in all three blocks over the years and would happily return to any of them. This time we tried a new suite and liked its modern feel, though we missed waking up to a pool view and sunrise. We hope the other blocks are renovated to the same standard. We've now been to Costa Encantada four times, and this was our fourth consecutive visit with our family of five. We don't usually write reviews, but some recent negative comments made us want to share our experience. For four years, we've found it beautiful, clean and very family friendly. All Inclusive works brilliantly for us, especially with our three kids helping themselves to hot snacks, ice creams, milkshakes and ice slushies throughout the day. The food is excellent, fresh and varied, with something for everyone. This week's highlights were the freshly made omelettes every morning (we love “omelette man!”), BBQ pork ribs at Monday lunch, steak and onion rings at Monday dinner, and fresh pizza daily. We have two small suggestions: marmalade at breakfast, which was missing for the first time this year, and making the burger buns from the poolside buffet bar available upstairs when burgers are on the menu. Those are minor details in a fantastic family holiday destination. We've already stayed four times, and we're sure we'll be back again.
