It’s cheap and centrally located, which were the only real positives for me. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, and I won’t return. I felt uncomfortable at several points, and it seemed more like somewhere older people lived than a hostel for younger travelers. I saw several of them in the kitchen. The room was very messy, and an older man seemed to live there. It felt as if I was intruding in his home. He didn’t follow the no smoking or no eating rules. There was one fan, but he said it couldn’t point toward the beds because it made him sick. At 7 a.m. he switched it off and started making coffee in the room. Later, when I turned on the light to get ready to go out, he turned it off because he said mosquitoes would come in. The receptionist was friendly, but didn’t show me my bed or the bathroom, so I had to guess which bathroom was mine. Another guest in the room arrived drunk, got naked, and went to sleep in his underwear. The bag locker was just a dirty, dusty space under the bed, with no lock. The bathroom was dirty too, the sink drained very slowly, and the shower didn’t work properly.

The location was nice and everything else was fine, but we couldn’t manage the heat, even for one night. I booked a mixed room for four with two friends, and after the first night we moved to a hotel. There was no AC, just a small fan, and the second floor was already too hot to sleep. The room also smelled strange and the bathrooms weren’t clean.

Be careful around the people who hang out there, and watch your kids. The owners are enabling this. Happy New Year, have fun in Barcelona when you’re here. I’d send you some pictures.

The location made the stay for me, it’s easy to walk everywhere, and I’d love to return. The reception and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful, and I felt safe the whole time. My one issue was the heat in the room. There was just one fan and it didn’t do much. I had a wonderful stay at Loft Hostal in Lloret de Mar! 🌞

The common areas felt cozy and were a nice place to meet other travelers, and the rooms were modern, clean, and had comfortable beds. Loft Hostel in Lloret de Mar is close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The staff were super friendly and ready to help with anything. It’s a good fit for budget travelers who still want comfort and style. I had a great stay and would definitely book again.
