The location is great for the beach and public transport, and nightlife is within walking distance. The food was fresh, tasty, and great, and the beds were okay. The hotel was fairly clean, but the furniture looked aged and damaged, and the rooms could use upgrades. There was a leak in our room, which maintenance fixed temporarily. Noise was a real problem: some buildings carry sound badly, other guests were very loud, and our complaints at reception didn’t stop it. The lifts also meant long waits, and the hotel seemed badly short-staffed. It’s still a good budget hotel, but it doesn’t really meet its star rating anymore. The rooms need investment in furniture and soundproofing, and you’ll need patience if you stay here.

The hotel was spotless, the location was great, and the staff were friendly enough. The food was disgusting, honestly. All-inclusive only gets you three drinks with meals, and they’re literally just lager or wine. It wasn’t very child-friendly either. Hardly anything was open since we visited in the low season, but the break did us the world of good.

The beach and sea are just a minute’s walk away, with bars, restaurants, and shops close by too. That was a big plus. I’ve just finished my stay and have mixed feelings. The elevators were terrible, with long waits, and the cafeteria was busy and really loud. Guests were noisy too, so meals weren’t peaceful. The food was simple but tasty, and I especially enjoyed some of the desserts. The coffee wasn’t great, which disappointed me as a coffee lover. All-inclusive drinks only covered wine or beer, which I don’t like, so I had to pay for a cocktail. Rooms were mostly clean but a little old-fashioned. The bathroom was clean, though the hand soap dispenser was awkwardly far from the sink. I’d have preferred shampoo and conditioner instead of a 2-in-1 body and hair wash, so I had to buy my own. The balcony was fine, but it needed a line with pegs for drying clothes and beach towels. I think there should be an iron too. There were photos of a dirty bed frame.

We booked two rooms with breakfast and dinner for four days. The location was very good, close to S’Arenal beach, bus stops, and supermarkets. For the price, both the rooms and service were quite nice. Breakfast was okay, but dinner was bad. The food looked appealing but didn’t taste good, and some things were stale. Nothing was labelled with ingredients, which made meals a hassle for vegetarians and vegans.
