Arianni, Gloria, and Lloren were especially lovely and went above and beyond whenever we needed something. The whole staff was kind, welcoming, and helpful, so we felt well looked after during our short Mallorca trip. It was great value for the price, and we really enjoyed our stay. We’d absolutely book here again. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

The breakfast was the highlight, a generous buffet brunch from 8am to 1pm with loads of choice: salads, fruit, cereals, eggs made every way, sweets, and breads. Reception staff were welcoming, towels were fresh and changed regularly, and the place is open 24 hours, which is handy. The rooms were okay, though they could have been cleaner, and I admit I have high standards. We didn’t try the gym or pool. There’s no on-site parking, and nearby street parking can be a pain: in April, on 3 of our 5 nights, it took about 20 minutes to find a spot, sometimes up to a 10-minute walk away. I imagine peak season is trickier, though buses in the area help. Good value for the price, and a solid stay.

We went in April, when the hotel was clean, smart, and fairly quiet at the start of the season. We booked through the hotel website and paid a small extra fee for a sea view. Two nights in mid-April cost £130, much less than Palma Town, and it’s only a 20-minute bus ride into town. Our room had a balcony with a table and chairs overlooking the bay, a mini fridge, TV, twin beds that could be pushed together, and a modern, nice bathroom. The mattresses were very firm, too firm for me, though my partner liked them for his back, so book only if you like a firm bed. The hotel has a ground-floor pool and bar, plenty of seating and work areas, sunbeds, and a gym. We didn’t use the gym or sunbeds, but the pool looked inviting. It’s a five-minute walk downhill to the beach, along a long bay with a lovely promenade for evening walks and plenty of restaurants and bars. We ate at Betty and Sam American diner and Restaurant de Sol for tapas, and both had vegan options. There’s also a supermarket across the road, handy for basics like holiday crisps. 😋 L Arenal is popular with German visitors, and in summer I can imagine lots of 18-30-year-old holidaymakers, stag and hen parties. For us, in our 40s and 50s, April was quieter and peaceful. Buses to the airport and Palma run regularly. Get to the stop early, as they let the bus fill up with standing passengers, which isn’t much fun, mainly at busier times.

The location was really convenient for exploring Mallorca, Palma included, and the reception staff were kind. The lobby, lounge areas, and pool looked great, but my room on the sixth floor was quite average, and it seemed the higher the floor, the more the quality dropped. It wasn’t cleaned very thoroughly, especially the bathroom. The price seemed fair for what the hotel offers, but it could use renovation. Breakfast and brunch were the main highlight. As a vegan, I found a few things to eat, but the dining staff didn’t seem familiar with allergens or which dishes were vegan. I asked for a vegan pastry and was given a gluten-free muffin that contained eggs. There wasn’t a proper plant-based protein option either. The stay was generally okay, but I wouldn’t personally return.
