Hostal Rural Montual

The setting is lovely and quiet, with nature all around and the spa just across from the hostel. The meals were tasty and generous. My room looked onto the inner courtyard, but it was clean, comfortable, and had what I needed for a few days. The beds were comfortable too, and the staff were kind and attentive to everyone.

It’s a peaceful village, and the spa is nice, so it’s easy to relax here. The room was small and simple, but had air conditioning, heating, and a complete bathroom, everything needed for a short stay. The homemade food was high quality and tasted just like a meal at home. The waitresses were friendly and paid attention to the details.

The village spa and hostel have been part of my routine for 14 years, and I plan to keep returning as long as I can. The hiking paths nearby are beautiful, and the homemade food is wonderful. Staff were very friendly, everything was very clean, and the standard rooms were perfectly adequate for the price.

The scenery around Cortes y Graena is beautiful, and the spa isn't the only thing to see. We’re just finishing our stay, and everything has been excellent, from the plentiful homemade meals and well-equipped rooms to the hostel staff and entertainment program. It really feels like home here. Antonia, the owner, puts so much care into making sure the stay is just right, with thoughtful touches that are genuinely surprising. The value for money is unbeatable. We highly recommend a few days at Hostal Montual and in the area.
