The room was comfortable, with a nice bed, and the hotel itself is clean and attractive. After that, though, things fell short. The spa felt old and worn, and the pool was crowded and got boring quickly, with little variety in the therapy options and no cold pools. It felt like a public swimming pool. The €60 bathrobes were laughable too. They were old and falling apart, and you can buy better ones at primark for half the price, so I wouldn't want to take one. The food was extremely disappointing for a 4 star hotel. Dinner had a poor selection and low quality, and I've had better buffets at 2 star hotels. Breakfast was no better if you like cold eggs and greasy churros. There was very little hot food, nothing cooked fresh to order, tinned fruit, and a poor pastry selection that looked days old. The room was too hot, so I had to sleep with the balcony door open even after turning off the aircon.

The staff were all friendly and accommodating, and the pool was very well maintained. We had a two night break, and the room was spacious and comfortable. There was no tea or coffee making facility, so we brought our own. The shower was in a bath with no handrail, which made getting in and out difficult and dangerous for us in our late 70s. The bright, open restaurant had a reasonable choice of decent food. The hot dishes at breakfast and dinner were dull, but the salad and sweet bars were good. Dinner came with excellent wine, and there was a good coffee machine. The pool bar was comfortable too.

Thalasia is directly connected to this very modern hotel, and it's very nice, with indoor and outdoor thermal pools. Our room was huge and could sleep four. Breakfast was very good, although there wasn't much fresh fruit to choose from. The hotel information was poor, including directions on where to go for things and the wifi codes.

The spa is lovely and relaxing, though it can get busy. Later in the day it's usually quite quiet. We've been going throughout the winter and bought the 10 visits for €75. It's disappointing that the offer is discontinued for summer when we've supported them all year. Still, we're looking forward to going back when it returns.

I live only 10 minutes away, so I go to the spa here. It's excellent value, and we enjoy spending a good two hours there.
