Hostal Cruz

We spent six nights at Hostal Cruz and really enjoyed it. The garden was a lovely spot to sit and have a meal, and we had a room with a terraza and lots of amenities. Everything was nice and clean, and the location made it easy to walk to everything in town. The staff and owners were so welcoming, helpful, and nice to talk with.

Even without air conditioning, our room stayed at a comfortable temperature in early July. The hostel is a nice, affordable place in beautiful Tossa de Mar. We got a small breakfast, and could borrow parasols and diving goggles for free. The staff were friendly, recommended good restaurants, and explained some of the local cultural festivities.

A good value hotel with really helpful staff. They were always around if we needed anything. The rooms are a little small, though still a reasonable size, and were clean and well looked after. Breakfast is included in most stay prices: a sandwich with a choice of three options, coffee, juice, and either fruit or yogurt.

The staff are the real highlight here. They look after you like family, and their warmth and helpfulness set a high standard for hospitality. The hostel itself is simple, but has everything a traveler might need and a real character.
