Residencial Playa Puerto Naos

Puerto Naos is my kind of place, and I’d come back every time. It’s worth visiting if you want somewhere peaceful, but kids don’t have much to do, and I know others may want more activity. Watching hang-gliders come down from the cliffs to the beachfront is about the most energetic thing around. Swimming can be hit or miss because big waves and tidal currents often bring out the red flag, with the authorities taking the cautious approach. For an upbeat, exciting experience, Playa de las Americas or even Benidorm may suit you better.

The Atlantic can be dangerous here, so take the lifeguards seriously and stay out when the red flag is flying. The beach itself is lovely and has no touts bothering you, with sunbeds and parasols for rent. Its natural surface varies a lot: some parts have fine sand, while other stretches are covered in stones.

It’s a beautiful beach with toilets, showers, changing rooms, and a lifeguard. Tourists should be very careful and pay attention to the flags. This beach can be dangerous, and many people have drowned here.
