Paolo was very friendly and had useful suggestions for places to see. We especially loved the museo marítimo de Asturias, with its unusual look at shipbuilding and the discovery of the new world from the 15th to 18th century. The hotel feels authentic and is a lovely 10 minute walk from town. Our room was spotless, had everything we needed, and looked out over the ocean. Fresh orange juice at breakfast was a delicious touch.

I’m reposting my one-star review because Google’s policy changes got the earlier one removed. My uncomfortable experience had nothing to do with the rooms or cleanliness, it was the way the staff treated us. We were told we couldn’t eat anywhere on the property: not in our room, not in the cafe, which was closed most of the time, and not even on the terrace. In the end, we ate on the curb. The owner came across as very haughty. It was a strange experience, and the poor service is why I gave it one star. I wouldn’t recommend it. Go somewhere more hospitable.

Everything was clean, and the staff were really friendly. It’s a cute, cozy hotel, about an easy 10 minute walk from the marina. Call ahead if you’ll be arriving around midday.

We felt at home from the start, thanks to the owners’ warm and attentive hospitality. The service was fantastic, and we’ll be back soon. Breakfast was generous, very good, and clearly prepared with care. Our room was cozy, quiet, and spotlessly clean.
