We loved how peaceful it was at Casa Xabu, with hills all around and the sea visible in the distance. The house felt warm and cozy, especially with the wood-burning fire and plenty of logs, and the beds were really comfortable. Everything was finished to a high standard, and the main bedroom had loads of space. Luarca, a pretty fishing village, is about a five-minute drive downhill. We ate well there, including a memorable dinner at La Galga, and had Sunday lunch at Casa Vicente, two minutes along the coast. Our host made everything easy and enjoyable. A lovely rural escape if you want to properly unwind.

The first Three Kings' Day with our baby felt just right at Casa Xabú. Celia even managed to find us a cake from a nearby top-notch pastry shop after they had sold out. Such a thoughtful gesture, and typical of how attentive she was throughout our stay. She welcomed us so warmly and made sure we had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the fireplace on cold, rainy, windy days, and the house's secluded setting was wonderfully quiet. The views from every window were idyllic. Inside, it was far more comfortable and beautiful than the photos suggest, with carefully chosen decor and lovely artwork. The kitchen had everything, including quality glasses and elegant stemware, and there was a barbecue too. We'd love to come back when the weather is better, and wholeheartedly recommend Casa Xabú. Celia is wonderful, and pets are welcome. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, cozy duvets, and very comfortable beds. It's a peaceful place to switch off, listen to the birds, and enjoy the views. The minimalist decor is lovely, with care given to every detail. There are beautiful beaches less than a 20-minute drive away. Highly recommended.

Waking up to the landscape was something else. From the house, it felt like we were up above everything, with cows and lush green fields around us, and some days it was like floating on a cloud. Even arriving at night had already impressed us. The house is spacious, has everything you need, and keeps out both the cold and the heat really well. The neighbors were friendly, and you can buy eggs, milk, and cured meats from them. Celia was so attentive to our comfort and quickly suggested good local places. The house is beautifully designed and cared for. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Thank you ❤️

Traveling with our young children worked out especially well here. There was plenty of outdoor space where they could play safely and freely, and the house had things to keep all ages entertained. It was comfortable for the adults too, and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The surroundings were so quiet and peaceful, just right for unwinding. The house was welcoming and very well looked after. We'd love to return.
