The hotel sits on a green hill and is small but very cozy. It made a perfect stop about halfway between Malaga and Cordoba, with very friendly staff. Dinner was excellent value, with generous portions and excellent food. Breakfast was just as good. Take the opportunity to visit the Sanctuary of Araceli.

We couldn’t stay because they were fully booked, but the owners were very friendly and called around to find us somewhere. That was great service, especially since we weren’t even guests. It’s a beautiful spot on the hill overlooking olive plantations.

A great place in the province of Córdoba, next to Lucena town, and highly recommended. The restaurant has a huge range of dishes, so stop in and enjoy the menu. Don’t miss dessert, it would be a shame! A few minutes uphill from the hotel/restaurant, there’s a nice viewpoint at the top, where you can visit a church and take in an amazing 360-degree view.

It’s a nice rural spot if you’d rather stay outside town. This little family-run hotel and restaurant is about a 5-minute drive from Lucena. The rooms were nice for the price, and they serve homemade food. There’s a small bar that pours a nice healthy drink. If you paraglide, the launch point is near the Ermita de Virgen de Araceli at the top of the hill. It was fairly active the day we stayed. Safe travels.

Beautiful setting and friendly, obliging service. The food was above average, though it leaned more toward quantity than quality.
