The photos gave us the wrong idea, and the stay was a real disappointment. The room had none of the basics: no phone, table lamps, or hairdryer, and the towels were completely worn out. The walls were dirty, there were no headboards, and the small bathtub had a plastic curtain. The beds were only 90 cm wide. There were no services in the town or at the accommodation either. We couldn’t find a place to eat or even a small supermarket within 18 km. We definitely won’t return, though the town itself is beautiful and worth visiting, and the locals are charming.

The hosts, Charito and Carlos, are so attentive, helpful, and kind. Their beautiful, welcoming place feels like home and is a lovely escape from city noise. Astorga is just 20 minutes away. I’ll definitely come back and recommend it 100%.

The peaceful atmosphere made this a wonderful choice for our family night. We arrived on a Saturday evening with only an hour’s notice, and they welcomed us so warmly. Dinner there was delicious, and we slept really well in spacious, comfortable rooms. In the morning, we could see how lovely and well-kept the house is. The owners are very friendly, and you can tell how much they care about their guests. We’re absolutely delighted.
