Apartamentos Mayor Centro

The beds were comfortable, and the showers had strong pressure with plenty of hot water. We stayed in a 3 bed, 2 bath flat with a terrace, right in central Madrid. It had recently been upgraded and looked even better than the photos on the sites. We arrived before check-in and left our bags. By the time we got back, the staff had already taken them up to the room. Such great service. The hotel personnel were friendly and helpful, and the location was amazing, literally a minute’s walk to Sol and Plaza Mayor. The lift is antique and protected, but works fine if you follow the instructions for use very carefully. The keys are digital, through a link they send you, so don’t leave your phone behind or let its battery run out! Highly recommend it. I’d definitely go back.
