Apartamentos Mexico

We paid 170/night, which felt steep for what we got, but we didn't have another option. The room was in a separate building and was basically an old apartment. It was clean enough, but don't expect much. We weren't told how to use the heating, so it was pretty cold. Two towels were dirty and smelled of paint, so fresh towels should be put out before guests arrive. The service, location, and quick replies earned the four stars. The evening helpdesk person was brief, though not unfriendly.

The location is very good, right in the center. The apartments were booked, so we stayed in another building instead. Everything was fine, with just a few minor defects, and the service was good.

A perfect spot for walking to museums, bars, restaurants, and more. Reception is open 24/7 too.

The location was the best part, close to the Prado and the city centre, and there was professional service around the clock. We needed an affordable place for one night, and this simple hotel worked well. The room was clean, though we could hear some outside noise. A good experience, and I’d recommend it.
