Arenal Suites

We stayed over New Year's Eve and could walk right out to watch the celebration, then head back upstairs and see more fireworks from the balcony. Such a fun experience! The apartment was sparkling clean, the host was wonderful, and the location was excellent. We appreciated the washing machine and being able to get to Puerta del Sol. The soundproof walls were pretty amazing too. Once we were ready for bed, it was quiet inside.

The hosts were really nice and helpful. The location is perfect, just a block from Puerta Del Sol and the Sol metro and train station, with an excellent bakery nearby and lots of shops, groceries, and restaurants close by. We had a large one bedroom apartment with a nice kitchen and living room. A wonderful place to stay.

Maria, one of the apartment staff, found my wallet after I left it behind at checkout and arranged a courier to send it to Lisbon. Such a relief, and the icing on the cake. The staff were friendly, and the instructions for finding the apartment in the building were clear, which helped on the first visit. I was really impressed by how much space there was: a bedroom, living room, and dining area. It had everything we needed for a comfortable 4 nights, including a washing machine, free coffee capsules, and cooking facilities. We could walk to metro stations and most places we wanted to visit, so we barely needed public transport. A very pleasant stay.

We stayed in a suite on the 3rd floor, which felt very secure, just a few minutes from Plaza del Sol and Plaza Mayor. The bathroom was nice and had fantastic water pressure. There was a full kitchen and a washer/dryer too. My family of 4 stayed 5 nights, and the kids shared the pullout bed. It was comfortable even for my 6ft 3 son.
