Everything was within walking distance, and the price felt reasonable for such a central spot. The room was basic but clean and practical. I chose a double for myself because I thought a single might be too small.

The location was good, and I appreciated being able to get a private room with its own bathroom. It was extremely small, though, so next time I’ll check other options. It may suit someone on a budget who just needs a short, basic stay.

Plaza Mayor, Puerta de Sol and Palacio Real are all nearby, so it’s a handy base for seeing the sights. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and I’d book here again for a couple of nights in Madrid.

Right in the middle of everything on Calle Arenal. The place was clean and well furnished, and it made a great base in Madrid. Highly recommended.
