Casa de las Artes has a creative feel throughout, with artwork in every corner that made me stop and look. I kept taking the stairs instead of the elevator just to spend more time with the art in the stairway. A few pieces really captured my heart by the end of the stay; checked baggage limits were the only thing keeping me from taking one home. My room was quite spacious by Madrid standards, a welcome surprise. The walls weren’t completely soundproof, and I occasionally heard neighbors, but it never affected my sleep. I use white noise and consistently got eight or more hours a night without any issues. This is a memorable place that offers more than a comfortable bed, and the experience stayed with me after I left.

The staff were attentive about breakfast service, and there was no wait in line. Breakfast and dinner at Mache were really good. We were given an upgrade and late checkout was honored without any trouble. They left desserts in the room while we checked in, which was absolutely fantastic, and replaced the water bottles every night; they also provided candy. The metro entrance is 1 min away. It’s an amazing hotel, with very attentive and polite staff. I wish more hotels paid attention to customers and service the way Casa de Las Artes does. I’ll definitely stay again.

The staff are what really made this hotel stand out. Everyone we met was friendly and very good at their job. Special thanks to Iñaki on reception, Luis Leon, the barman extraordinaire, and Dixon, Paola, Eduardo and Eleanor in the restaurant. The hotel is beautiful and has fantastic facilities, including a lovely little cinema we had all to ourselves. We also spent every night in the restaurant and bar, where the food was delicious and the drinks menu extensive. The cocktails were made with pride, and rightly so. Breakfast was so good that we often didn’t leave until late morning. We travel all over the world, and this was the best hotel visit we’ve ever had. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

The spa was a lovely part of our stay, with a heated pool, hammam and sauna, and dinner at Maché restaurant was a great experience. The hotel is brand new and beautifully decorated. David made us feel welcome right from reception and was helpful throughout our two nights. He even found us a room with a beautiful bathtub. All the staff were so friendly, especially David. We had a wonderful stay.
