The shared bathrooms were spotless, and Carolina, the cleaner, was friendly and helpful. The manager also replies quickly, though most of the time there wasn't any staff at the hotel besides her. The location is perfect, with everything walkable, but the street-facing rooms are very noisy because the windows don't block sound well. Cleaning in our room was only superficial, with plenty of dirt under the bed and someone else's hair on the sheets.

Priscila and the rest of the team really go out of their way to make guests comfortable. The rooms are cleaned every day, and they’re ready to help with special requests. Our room was comfortable, clean, and had the amenities we needed. From this central spot, the tourist attractions are easy to reach. We'd happily stay again and recommend it.

There seemed to be a line for the shared shower rooms most of the evening, probably because a bunch of guests arrived late. Around one in the morning, someone had been in there for ages, and another annoyed guest started pounding hard on the door until she finally came out. It was all happening right outside our room, which wasn't much fun. The room itself was cramped and very basic, though fine for one night in Madrid.

The rooms are clean, and the shared shower was okay. There's also a handy kitchen with a washing machine and some free tea and coffee. The place is near Anton Martin metro station, next to the Wilde Sunglasses shop, though Booking.com shows it somewhere else. My room facing Calle del Leon was noisy, and the windows didn't keep the sound out well. I stayed one night in October 2024, which was enough for me. It's fine if you want a budget room, but I'd take the high reviews with a pinch of salt.
