Check-in was easy, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent too, with the center only 15-20 minutes away. Still, I didn't think the hotel offered much for the price. My room was extremely basic, just a bed, table, and chair. A kettle or even a bottle of water would have been nice. The bathtub was a good touch. Breakfast was okay, but lacked things like olives, the gluten-free choices were poor, and the machine's decaf coffee was terrible. I'd suggest it if you're after a no-frills stay.

The room cleaning staff deserve the three stars I gave it. Room and breakfast staff were good, but reception weren't very helpful and had very limited English. The hotel is near the Metro, though still outside the center, and there are no kettles in the rooms. The restaurant and cafe close Friday through Sunday. No one pointed us toward local restaurants beyond Taco Bell and McDonalds. Not a recommended start to a visit to Spain.

We had a lovely three-night stay at Hotel Exe Plaza. The beds were cozy, the rooms spacious and comfortable, and the whole hotel was spotless and well maintained. It was quiet, too. The service and facilities exceeded what we expected, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Communication with the hotel was smooth. The location is ideal, with plenty of coffee shops, a McDonald’s, and a metro station just around the corner. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. Thanks for making our time in Madrid so pleasant.

The one good part was the reception team, who were respectful and friendly. Otherwise there were practically no services. I paid €207.40 for one night on December 6, plus €19 for parking, making 226.40€ without breakfast. There wasn't even a toothbrush or bathroom slippers. One of the two elevators was out of order, so we had to wait a lot. Much too expensive for a single night.

Transport links are right nearby, which made it easy to get around Madrid. My room at Hotel Exe Plaza was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Staff were polite and always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast had a fresh, decent selection. It was a wonderful stay and felt like good value, with a nice balance of comfort, service, and convenience. Highly recommended.
