Fly Rooms Madrid Airport

Our flight was canceled and rescheduled for a day later. Even though there was availability, the hotel wouldn’t let us move our booking. I know bookings come with plenty of conditions, but a little empathy in exceptional circumstances would have been appreciated. I won’t choose this hotel again.

We arrived late at night for a short stay and found the team friendly and really helpful. The hotel is amazing value, the rooms were super clean, and the beds and pillows were great. We had a drink and some light snacks at the bar, where Basílio was so kind while serving us. Thanks to him, the journey was much more enjoyable.

The staff understand what travelers on tight schedules need and handle it efficiently and kindly. The room price is competitive, so I judge the breakfast against others in the same range. I’ve had better, but this one punches above its weight: there’s fresh juice, decent coffee, and a good spread of hot and cold food. I wouldn’t make a special trip for breakfast, but it has what you need. I didn’t try the bistro because there are so many places nearby. It looks convenient and functional, and I expect a late meal there would be adequate, if not exciting. I chose badly when I went elsewhere and likely would have eaten better here, though that’s the choice you make. For early departures, they put out coffee and pastries from 4:00 am, which is a thoughtful touch. I’m happy to recommend the hotel and will probably stay again when traveling to or from Madrid.

I was lucky, frightened, and grateful all at once. After missing my flight, I needed somewhere near the airport so I could fly to my final destination the next day. The hotel is one stop from the airport on Line 6. I took a €22 taxi there, then went for a short walk in the morning to clear my head before taking the metro back. I couldn't figure out the ticket machine, so a lovely young woman let me use her card for free. That kind gesture nearly got me into trouble: when I got off, I needed a receipt to enter Terminal 4, and I didn't have one. An attendant helped me get into the airport.
