The rooms are beautifully renovated inside, though the old building can make a first impression that’s a little scary. It was a great place overall, with clean, luxurious rooms, balconies, kind and helpful staff, and a central Madrid location. It wasn’t expensive, either. The staff even spoke English, which is rare in Spain. My only real drawbacks were the mattress, which felt a bit too hard for me, and the soundproofing. My friend didn’t have any problem with that. I’d also suggest adding a second bin in the room, besides the one in the bathroom. I’d definitely recommend the hotel.

The building is really nice, and you have everything you need nearby. It’s in a great spot on Gran Via. The place was clean and very nice, though my room was narrow and the bed was small.

The place was quiet despite being on a busy street, and it was easy to walk everywhere from there. Our room was very clean, the shower had great pressure, and check-in was easy with our friendly host. We loved staying here and would book again.

The rooms are extremely clean, though very small, and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom and shower were excellent, and the AC was quiet, which would be useful in the hot summer months. The hotel is just the fourth floor of a building with another hotel and residential apartments, which felt different but wasn’t a problem. The lift is small. Service from the inn keeper was friendly. It’s a simple, modern place right in central Madrid, steps from Gran Via and Sol. The rooms were well insulated and surprisingly quiet for such a busy area. I’d stay again if I’m back in Madrid.

There’s no breakfast at the hotel, but we found a very good one nearby at Taberna La Española, just two minutes away. It cost between 5.5 Euro and 7.5 Euro per person. The room was small, but spotless, with everything we needed for a few days in Madrid. Staff were friendly, and it was cleaned daily. The location is excellent, right on the pedestrian shopping street Calle de Fuencarral.
