The location is convenient and the place is clean, but the heating really bothered us. It only runs for a couple of hours in the evening before being switched off. In the middle of January, we were cold for most of our stay.

The location is very good, but the room was tiny and not very clean. It was extremely noisy at night, and after two nights here I barely slept. For what you get, it feels expensive.

We left after only a few hours because the place was dirty and far too noisy. The owners didn't seem to care. I asked for a quieter room, and the owner, a woman, became abusive toward me. I can't say enough about how terrible it was. Please take my advice and avoid this hell hole. It reminded me of a 3rd world country.

It's so hard to find customer service this good these days, but I found it here. The owner was very nice and educated, and her employees were too. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Madrid.

There are lots of restaurants nearby to choose from, and the hostel is central. For a one star place, it's really nice, with spacious rooms and good quality mattresses.
