We spent four nights here and had a good stay. It's in a safe, convenient neighborhood near the train station and local shops, and the price was good. The hostel and room were clean and smelled fine. Our road-facing room did get some noise from passing cars, which disturbed us now and then, but the friendly, helpful staff and the rest of the experience make it a place we'd recommend.

The neighborhood felt safe, and nearby we found a very local restaurant we absolutely loved, a real hidden gem. The hostel is quite far from the city center, though, so allow extra time for getting around. Our room was small, basic, and bare, but fine for sleeping. The bathroom was small too. The hairdryer stopped working after about 30 seconds, which was frustrating, and there wasn't much storage, so lots of luggage could be a problem.

The place was clean and conveniently close to the Metro. The room felt a bit cramped with two people, though.

The room was compact, but it had what we needed: good air conditioning, a hot shower, towels, soap, and shower gel. For the price, this hotel is very good value. It sits between El Carmen and Quintana metro stops, with the 146 bus nearby, and it's also quite close to the airport.
