My friend and I had an amazing stay at Cool Rooms. The suite had a living room and two adjoining bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, so we could have our own space and still spend time together in the large shared area. The hotel is beautifully designed and spotless. Housekeeping was out of this world, with daily cleaning and turndown service. Everyone we dealt with was incredible. Reception was fantastic and often suggested places based on what we were looking for, and the concierge arranged in-room massages for us. The bar was lovely, quiet, and the staff always looked after me well. The hotel is perfectly placed for visiting the museums and restaurants, while still feeling a bit like a neighborhood. I'll definitely be back!

The staff made this hotel stand out, with attentive, thoughtful care every day that felt warm and personal without being overbearing. Our suite was easily my favorite room of the trip: spacious, beautiful, comfortable, and stunningly designed. We spent two weeks staying at luxury hotels across Spain, and our visit to CoolRooms Palacio de Atocha was one of the highlights of the trip. For a boutique luxury hotel with lovely service and attention to detail, I can't recommend it highly enough. We'd absolutely return on our next visit to Madrid.

The breakfast was spectacular, and I'd absolutely stay here again if we return to Madrid. We were first shown a room on the 3rd floor, then stayed in room 10 on the first floor. I liked the first-floor room more, with its higher ceilings and even better views. It looked onto the courtyard, which wasn't anything dramatic, but it was nice to look out at, and the jasmine around the window was my favorite to smell. Gerard was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and made two reservations for us. The room was very cool!

The staff were lovely and quick to handle my questions and requests, and nothing seemed to be a problem. They deserve the Michelin Hotel Key award. I'd love to return to this stunning palace. I stayed in two room types. The junior suite was luxurious, spacious, and comfortable. The cool suite was even bigger, with a rooftop terrace and jacuzzi, lovely views, two living rooms, and a huge, comfortable bedroom. Having breakfast on the palace rooftop terrace with Madrid's rooftops in view, then relaxing in the jacuzzi, felt like a dream. I also tried the 35 EUR breakfast delivered to the room. It was beautifully presented, made with high-quality ingredients, and had a huge choice of carefully prepared hot dishes. Even if you usually grab a quick bite at a local cafe instead of spending an hour on a filling hotel breakfast, I'd try it at least once.

The service was wonderful. The front desk and room service, including cleaning, were excellent. We had to leave early on checkout day, and they gave us water and nuts, which was really kind. I also left my glasses in the room. When I came back from my trip, they'd found them for me. That impressed me. The location was really convenient, close to the subway at Anton Martine and the high-speed train station at atocha, if I remember right. Famous places like the palace, major plaza, and market area were nearby too. I also found the hair iron and clothes iron in the room very useful. We'd traveled around Spain and Morocco for almost 2weeks, and this was the only hotel that had those. They really understand what guests want. Super wonderful hotel, and I'd definitely pick it again if I get the chance to visit Madrid. Arigato :)
