The staff were nice, but our room had a horrible smell, like broccoli boiling nonstop. I was relieved to get out of there, then put on a shirt from my suitcase and realized it smelled like broccoli too. So gross.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a hot shower and strong water pressure. Its windows faced a small courtyard, so we could get fresh air without the noise, and the free minibar was a nice touch. I’d absolutely come back. The location is right in the heart of Madrid, with all the sights walkable and a metro at the door for anyone who’d rather not walk. It’s a lovely, cozy hotel. A couple of things for management: having to wait for the receptionist to enter the access code, even during the day, gets tedious. It might be worth reconsidering that system. Also, though I understand there’s no laundry service, a card or pamphlet for a nearby laundry would be useful for guests.

The room was small, but still acceptable. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent.
