The little horse drawn on the mirror was such a lovely surprise. As a Chinese guest, that personal touch made me feel really welcome. Thanks to George, the talented artist behind it. The room was restful, with very comfortable furniture and linens. I also loved the thoughtful design and well-equipped facilities, especially the smart home setup. Being able to control everything in the room from one central remote was a delightful surprise, and it’s still quite rare in Europe.

The almond cake with the Ritz signature was a lovely welcome gift in our room, and we enjoyed more of it at the beautiful breakfast buffet. Front desk and restaurant service were excellent, and the spa facilities and staff stood out for their professionalism and hospitality. The whole property has heritage charm along with all the modern comforts you could imagine. Certainly the best hotel in the city!

I’ve stayed at 11 Mandarin Orientals, and Madrid was one of the best. The bed was just Devine, and the service was amazing. The staff were so accomplished, the bar team made every cocktail perfectly, and the general manager made guests feel so welcome. I’ll definitely be back!

The staff made this beautiful hotel stand out, with attentive service from the welcome through checkout. My room was spotless and fresh, and the warm towels and very good amenity kit were a nice touch. The courtyard restaurant is easy to get to for tea or a snack, and they serve full meals too. It's right by El Prado museum and Parque El Retiro, and worth every penny.
