The meals were poor quality and the portions too small for one person. I felt unwell for the whole vacation. I paid an extra €40 in advance for a special meal, but it never came, so I had to watch out for things I couldn’t eat. Before that, I’d found crisp crumbs in the wardrobe, and when I filled my bottle at the sink, the water was green, as if the sink hadn’t been used in a long time. I came to Madrid this summer with an Italian travel agency, thinking this place was good, but I was wrong. Honestly, after this experience I don’t think I’ll come back to Madrid. If you’re going, I’d avoid staying here. There are probably more organized places. 🙏

I spent two hours trying to collect a package within the allotted time, and nobody helped. Staff were disrespectful and even made fun of me among themselves while I was asking for assistance. It would have taken so little to let me pick up something that belongs to me. The support is nonexistent, and they’ve caused me so much stress and wasted time. I’ve never had such a horrible experience with a place that’s supposed to help its residents. I’m extremely angry and frustrated, and can’t wait to move out. Please don’t consider them as a residence.

You have to check in at another building several blocks away, and there’s no physical key. Entry relies on a digital key in an app you have to download. Mine didn’t work when I arrived, and other guests were struggling with the app and trying to reach the office in the other building. There’s nobody in the building where the unit is to assist. I eventually got someone on the intercom, but she wasn’t polite or apologetic. The individual bed unit was small but clean. There were absolutely no supplies included: no hand soap, utensils, plates, or cups, which is strange for a place advertised as having a kitchen and microwave. It’s near Cuatro Torres and Chamartin but very poorly connected, due to bad urban planning and construction. Expect to take an uber or taxi everywhere, or walk a long way to the train station. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There are many similarly priced options in Madrid with a better location and more amenities. Stay away!

I had already paid €200 as a registration fee, but within 24 hours of arriving I was also required to pay for the whole month. They wouldn’t take cash, only card or online payment. Before that, I was asked for a €250 deposit, even though the website said €200. I had to insist and show them the website, and I still don’t know whether the fee is refundable because I was told it wasn’t. The room had no proper heating. I asked several times for them to switch it on, but I spent the nights cold, wearing a hat and wrapping a towel around my head to sleep. The cold gave me headaches, and I later got an ear infection and lost hearing in my left ear. I’d had a full checkup, including audiometry, before arriving, and my ears were fine then. One receptionist gave me the wrong room, then told me I had to move immediately, even though I was injured and couldn’t walk without canes. She made the mistake but never apologized. I felt badly treated, and I also think they may be a bit racist. The food was very oily and caused stomach problems and a lot of acne. There are only two restaurants nearby and neither is very good; supermarkets aren’t close either. There’s no kitchen or fridge, so you can’t keep water or milk cold, store your own food, or wash a bottle for a protein shake. There is a microwave, but using it wasn’t comfortable. I wasn’t sure if I could take plates or spoons from the cafeteria, and they weren’t always available, so at 5 pm you might heat something and have nothing to eat it with. The place felt so ignorant and the experience was traumatizing. I paid €1,000 for the room plus €200 for registration and was treated poorly without proper heating. You can find a better equipped place for less, and order food from outside instead of having to eat in the cafeteria.

The room was in terrible shape, including an electrical outlet hanging disconnected from the wall. Staff didn’t seem to care or show any sympathy, and they actually shouted at me on two separate occasions. It may be cheap, but the service is even worse.
