We left and booked another hotel after finding dirty, hairy sheets and dirty towels when we checked in. We asked the staff to change them twice over two days. They said they had, but nothing changed, the same dirt and stains were still there. It wasn't nice to sleep in, and I won't be coming back to this hostal.

The room and bathroom were very clean, and the air conditioning worked well. The room was small, but better than we expected, and the photos on the websites matched what we found. Check-in was easy. The place is on the fifth floor of an old building, and it took us a while to figure out how to buzz in. You can climb the stairs or take the elevator, which only fits two people. We could hear people coming in late at night from the hall. I'd recommend staying here and would consider it again if I'm back in Madrid.

It feels more like a nice hotel than a hostal. The rooms are spacious, with a big comfortable bed, a large bathroom, good natural light, and even a coffee machine. Everything was clean and tidy. Just keep in mind that after hours there's nobody there to greet you, and you get in using a code.
