It’s inexpensive, renovated, and clean, and the place is just about what you’d expect. The reviews are pretty accurate, though: staff don’t speak much English, and both the street and rooms can be a bit noisy.

If you get there early, you can wait for your keys at the bar next door, which belongs to the same family. It’s a friendly, family-run guest house. Just be aware that only one of the boys speaks English, so chatting can be difficult if you don’t speak Spanish.

There’s no elevator, which is a problem. Still, the room was quiet, the location was fine, and a couple of the people at reception were very friendly.

There are only stairs, but the rooms are okay.

My friend came from London for a holiday, and I picked her up. She stayed at that place.
