There’s a Coffee 25 cafe across the road where you can get away from the noise, and Lild is opposite if you need to buy water. The neighborhood itself is lovely, with shops and places to eat within walking distance. The hotel gets packed every day with busloads of tourists, including lots of students. They can be very loud, and the rooms don't block much sound, so sleeping can be hard. The lobby and breakfast area are crowded and noisy too. There's no electric kettle in the rooms.

The front desk staff were very helpful, and getting an Uber to the airport took just 5 minutes, even around 4:45am in the rain. The rooms were lovely and clean, with a mini bar. Breakfast was great and cost €10, which I thought was worth every penny.

The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, just what we needed after long days out in Madrid. Breakfast had plenty of well-prepared choices too. Hotel Praga isn't a luxury resort, but being outside the busy center made it easier to see a more everyday side of the city. The people we met nearby were warm, patient, and kind, and that meant a lot to us. Service felt both professional and heartfelt from the start. Jesús, the bellman, took care of our bags well before check-in, which made a lovely first impression. Jerson, the security guard, also gave us an impromptu lesson in getting around, including public transport and Uber tips. We really appreciated it. Coffee Market, across the street, is a charming panadería-style cafe where we started our mornings with good coffee among locals. It became a ritual, and I'd say it's worth a stop. We left with great memories and a stronger connection to the real Madrid. Highly recommended.

The room was comfortable, though it wasn't new, and the bathroom had a big bath. The outlets were far from the bed, so using a device while it charged wasn't practical. Around 8-9 in the morning, the cleaners started working, and it got very noisy through the thin walls. My room was right beside the cleaners' room, which made it worse. Parking is private and costs 20 for hotel guests. Regular users pay 24 or 26. The location isn't great, but if you like walking, the nearest subway station is about 15 minutes away. Still, for a short trip, it was a decent, fairly cheap stay. Some renovation would make it better.

The location is okay, with Route 23 stopping right outside, though the nearest metro is a 13-minute walk. This hotel seems mainly set up for group tour operators, and looks like a cheap option for them, perhaps around €100–€125 a night for two people. Room No. 502 was extremely small, really more like a single-occupancy room. The bathroom was the worst part: even a small child would struggle to bathe in that cramped space. That's why I gave the room 1 star. For a so-called “4-star” hotel, it was also disappointing that there were no paid TV channels. We wanted to watch the Real Madrid vs Man City match (10th Nov, 2025), but were told to go to a restaurant or the hotel bar because the rooms had no sports channels. What a ridiculous response. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're paying out of pocket. You can find much better options in Madrid for the same budget. My rating is based only on the hotel's size and location. Nothing else deserves more than 1 star.
