Sardinero Madrid Hotel

We had a calm room at night, even though it faced the street, and the central location made it easy to explore by foot or take the metro right outside. We were there for a long weekend with our baby and were really happy with the stay. The staff were very accommodating, providing an extra baby bed and towels, and offering late checkout, which helped a lot. There’s a separate entrance on the side for strollers and wheelchairs, which made getting in easier. We’d definitely consider coming back to Madrid.

It’s a quiet neighborhood, but nightlife is close by. The hotel is in a beautiful listed building, and the rooms are a decent size without being too expensive. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Special thanks to Alicia for her smile and help on our last day in Madrid. Downtown is about a 20-minute walk, or you can take the metro opposite the hotel. Warmly recommend.

We’ll be back. This beautiful hotel is right in the heart of Madrid, with metro, bus, taxi, and Uber options from the airport, and once you arrive, everything is walkable. The front desk helped us make reservations and said the best terrace was on the fifth floor. They were right, and we got lucky with it. Excellent service and staff.

I stayed in a superior room with a terrace. It was simple, clean, and spacious, and the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. This is a welcoming, democratic-feeling hotel in a superb spot, in a local neighborhood close to the central areas. Staying here is easy: nobody bothers you with unnecessary attention or officious politeness, so it really feels like you can be at home.
