The single power socket on one side of the bed was the main annoyance. Not ideal these days, so bring a multi-socket adapter or a double USB plug if you need to charge several devices overnight. I didn’t try dinner at the hotel, as it didn’t look that interesting. Carrefour express is a five-minute walk away. Breakfast was very good, with lots of hot and cold options, and the Wi-Fi was good too. The room was decent-sized and clean, with everything needed, though the decor is a little dated. There’s a bath and shower if you want a soak after traveling. It’s just across the road from the train station and very convenient for the price. The Superior room is worth paying a bit more for, and still a great price for the location.

The buffet had lots to choose from, hot and cold, and the staff were friendly. The room was clean and spacious, and I’d stay again. It’s an easy place to reach: follow the signs for "C. de Agustín de Foxá" and look for the tall building once you exit Chamartin station. Chamartin station is about a five-minute walk and has Metro, commuter, and high-speed trains, including the C1 train to the airport. The uneven roads can make luggage a little difficult to carry.

The beds, pillows, and duvets were nice, though my wife and I had two beds that weren’t joined into a double. The service was OK, and the location works well if you need the station. Otherwise it’s not a nice area and it’s far from the city center. The rooms and general atmosphere feel tired. I wasn’t excited by the stay.

My fiancé and I got sick and had to extend our stay longer than we expected. The staff were kind and helpful through all of it, and we’re grateful for their help. The location was amazing, right by the trains, so we could easily go into town whenever we wanted.
