I stayed here two days ago. Check-in was pleasant, but nobody explained that standard rooms don't come with slippers, tissues or bathroom essentials. The only thing they clarified was that coffee capsules are free just once. The room was in good condition and clean on the first day, but after that the sheets weren't changed, there were stains on the linens and pillows, the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly, and even used tissues were left in the trash. I have photos. Why should I have to pay extra for cleanliness at a 4-star hotel? I've stayed in Airbnbs that were wonderfully clean and organized, even though they're just people renting their homes. How can a large hotel fail to care for guests properly? Was what I paid for the room too little for basic cleanliness? When I asked for another pair of slippers, staff said standard rooms don't get them. What kind of strange policy is that? Every hotel around the world provides the same cleanliness and essential amenities, including slippers, tissues and toiletries, for all room types. They even left the old toilet paper roll without replacing it, as if I was meant to change it myself. I honestly want to understand what this service is and where management is. I wrote this so people know what to expect when booking a standard room at this hotel. The least they could do is clean the mirror, but even the simplest things seem to require being an important person for the hotel to take care of them. I'm from a different country, and they don't know who I am. I don't want to sound discriminatory, but I believe all hotel guests should be treated equally when it comes to basic services. Don't you agree, hotel management? Correction to my previous review: the hotel's response isn't true. There was nothing on the bed. If there was anything, it was just some towels, a weak excuse from the housekeeping staff responsible for the room. I'd also like to point out that 40 Saudi Riyals were stolen from my room, and my bank card was taken from the safety box. I didn't file a complaint because it was my last day and I had to go to the airport. I learned from this experience that this hotel isn't a good place to stay, and I strongly advise Gulf or Arab travelers not to stay here.
