Tent Calvià Beach

Breakfast was a highlight, served until 13:30, so I could have it for lunch. There's free parking nearby, and I never had trouble finding a space. Hotel Tent Calvia was comfortable, clean overall, and good value. Its position near the edge of Magaluf keeps you away from the party noise, but it's still an easy walk if you want to join in. Cleaning varied between the two rooms I stayed in on different floors, depending on the housekeeper, so it could be more consistent. I'd suggest a pool-view room, which is quieter and has a nicer outlook. I was happy with the stay and would consider coming back.

The reception woman was friendly and very helpful, and the hot chocolate was really good. But the hot food at breakfast was cold, not even lukewarm. The pool was a good size but dirty, and my son found a bone in it. The room door couldn't be locked from inside, and the maids came in despite the sleeping Do Not Disturb sign. There was a microwave and kettle but no cutlery, cups, tea, or coffee. The thin walls meant we could hear next door talking and it kept us awake. We arrived at noon on day one, while brunch was still on until 1:30, but weren't allowed to use the restaurant. Breakfast starts at 8 and our transfer pickup was at 7:30, so we only got to use the restaurant three times in total. TV was all in Spanish except for the news in English, so bring a Fire Stick for evenings. I'd definitely return to Magaluf, but this hotel wasn't worth the money.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the beach, and breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, and service was excellent. Only problem was the shower head, which was low and not working properly. I'd choose this hotel again if we travel here.

The room was spacious, with a fridge, microwave, and kettle. Check-in is done at a machine, and the welcome staff could have been friendlier. Breakfast was good, though nothing incredible, and the staff there were nicer. There are some dishes available at the hotel that you can take back to your room, which is a nice extra. There's also a nice gym outside, but covered.
