The museum fits a lot into a manageable visit: Picasso's work from early sketches to later ceramics, plus Roman ruins in the basement. It's housed in a striking 16th-century palace and makes a beautiful tribute to Málaga's most famous artist. Rich in history without feeling overwhelming. A must-see, but buy tickets ahead because they tend to sell out.

For anyone into Picasso and 20th-century art, this collection gives you a view of his work across his life. Picasso himself didn't want to sell it, so it stayed in the family. It offers an extraordinary glimpse into his inner world. Highly recommend a private tour to learn the many things that otherwise go unattended. A must when visiting Malaga if you love art.

You still have to queue to get in, even with tickets bought online. Inside, the route is clearly marked through a spacious, clean museum, and the archaeology area with underground ruins is worth seeing. The collection doesn't include Picasso's most famous works, but this exhibition of the Master's art is still very interesting and makes a strong impression. The works have a beauty that can really captivate you.

We went at lunchtime on a quiet weekday in February and bought tickets at the door. The route is easy to follow, moving from Picasso's early work through his later years and showing how his art developed and changed with his inspirations. Most of the gallery is devoted to him, with other artists featured in the final exhibition. It's a beautiful building and gallery. Food and drink aren't allowed inside, but there's a café, toilets, and a gift shop.

The calm atmosphere and roomy layout made it easy to take my time and reflect. Picasso: Memory & Desire is thoughtfully arranged, with clear explanations in a clean, modern space that lets the art lead. An enjoyable, immersive visit for art lovers, and well worth it if you appreciate Picasso and insightful exhibitions.
